In February the classes 3A, 3B and 4a were lucky enough to participate in the wintersports week in Bad Goisern in Oberösterreich. We were 65 children, who took part in a week full of joy, excitement and fun. The teachers, Prof. Wielander, Konjikovac, Pichler, Haubenberger and Rav Shamonov accompanied us. On Monday we checked into the hostel and after organising everything, the teachers split us into four ski groups; beginner, amateur, advanced and the snowboarders. We tried on the equipment and tested it on the slopes, to ensure it was comfortable and the right size. After free time of one hour, there was a delicious dinner and we had some time to ourselves. At 7:30 pm, there was the evening programme in the conference hall, where we were given some information about the trip and every class had one evening where they were given the opportunity to create their own evening programme. The 3a created an interesting Quiz, 3B played a funny love game and the 4A did a talent show. We had to be in our rooms by nine pm, when our phones were collected, switch the lights off by 9.30 pm and be asleep by 10:00 pm. Every morning we were woken up at 06:45 am and had to be at the morning tefilah at 07:15 am, breakfast was served at 08:00 am and by 08:45 we were sitting in the bus, ready to go skiing by 09:30 am. The beginners and the snowboarders had met their teachers at the bottom of the mountain, while the amateur and advanced groups were already at the top of the mountain. We had a relaxing lunch break in the bus at 1:00 pm. The time whizzed by very quickly and in no time it was Friday and the journey home began.
